Zoning
Zoning
Zoning is a tool used by communities to promote orderly development. Through zoning, districts are created and regulations established governing the use, placement, spacing, and size of land and buildings.
Mifflin County does not have countywide zoning regulations. The following municipalities in Mifflin County have adopted their own zoning ordinances:
- Brown Township
- Burnham Borough
- Derry Township
- Granville Township
- Kistler Borough
- Lewistown Borough
- McVeytown Borough
- Union Township
Contact the respective municipality with any questions about zoning regulations. To obtain copies of municipal zoning ordinances, visit the municipality, the Pennsylvania eLibrary or the DEP Online Library.
